Our research is primarily in quantum information science.  Information has to be stored, transmitted and processed on physical systems so the laws of physics have strong implications for information processing. Similarly results from information science can offer profound insights into out physical world. Quantum information science is an exciting field that brings together research from physics, computer science and mathematics.
